Nitrous Outlet Plate, Nano and 200 shot (vid inside)
I recently decide to put in a Nitrous Specific Cam and make some changes to get the full hit from my nitrous. I had reached a bottleneck with the -4 and the small Brand X solenoid with a 90* so I put in a -6, Nitrous Outlets large Nitrous Solenoid and a 45* fitting.
The results were pretty amazing.
Before 436rwhp 395tq on 227/230 cam and on 175 shot we were only netting about 140 or so.
With Nitrous Cam 464rwhp and 411tq....remove bottle neck and 200 shot netted 236! So on a Stock Bottom LS1 we are pushing 700rwhp 631tq on a 200 pill.
Damn I love this NANO system!! I love it so much I just upgraded to the 15lb version and am selling my old 10lb

Are you using a plate? In talking with NANO and NitrousOutlet about their plate I was told the normal nitrous jet is 78 and fuel is 44 I think. With the NANO you can drop your Nitrous Jet or raise the fuel. I am using 78 and 52 with Nitrous Outlets 90MM Plate.

Thanks!
I am also using a Nitrous Outlet 92MM Plate kit. My adjusted jetting chart for the NANO showed 78 and 50 to make somewhere around 230-245 RWHP so right in the ball park with your numbers. Can't wait to hit the track tommorrow and see what #s I come up with! Thanks for your help!

I am on the rich side for sure. Starts off right where it should be and gets richer the longer the pull is. I think I remember it going to mid 10s at the end. I may have to pull the fuel jet down a bit once that fuel cell goes in. I think the initial hit off the rail is what kept it right and then as it caught up it went rich.

First thanks for the compliment and well wishes. I am glad you are smarter then the experts and widebands. Nitrous Outlets Plate specifically calls for these jets at this level. I am going to take the advice of yrs of nitrous experience and sales and believe what my widebands is telling me. Not all nitrous kits work the same way. I know you understand this If a nitrous jet regardless of size yeilds 150 on that setup then it is a 150rwhp shot. I don't care if a 88 jet is used. If it yields 200 on a given setup then that is what it is.

a little FYI all NO recommended jettings are really rich. I dont have to be smarter then them to understand what will be rich and lean on a given setup, with experience tuning a number of these setups including my own I know what is suppose to be what and what is in the ball park. plain and simple 78 is more then enough flow to produce over 200 and a 52 jet is DEAD rich and you verified that by telling me the A/f was in the 10's. Like I said 8-10 jet sizes rich.
and your theory as if any number of jet makes the specified power then you are ok with it.... you can have all the nitrous in the world being injected into the motor but the amount of fuel and timing will create the power.
btw an 88 jet can create 200hp but it can also create 150 or 300 or 50. depending on much fuel and timing you give it. Think that one over.
also for others coming in, lets be clear im not bashing NO, im just letting you know the truth regardless of what system you are using be it NO,hsw, dynotune,nx, NOS, etc.
