Yea it can be done. How much are you spraying now? Stalled auto?
I ran a measly 11.7 @ 118 1.9 60' with the mods in my sig. The nitrous was cutting in and out the entire pass also. Got the nitrous issue fixed and im sure i can cut that 11.7 down. I'm thinking about a transbrake and a bigger stall, a little more juice, along with some different gears. With that i'm sure i'd crack into the 10's.

I guess my buddy's car must have been a freak then. He had a 3200 vig stall, pacesetter lt's, ls6 intake, and a NX maf kit 150 shot and the car went 11.20's in the 1/4. This was a full weight 1999 30th annv. T/A. Stock 3.23 gears and stock trans with torque management removed.
With a little more bolt-ons or some more nitrous or remove weight it would have went 10's. It ran 12.20's N/A. He has then put H/C and it runs 11.60 on motor and 10.50's on 150 shot. This is also spraying right out the hole and before the H/C it was 1.5 60ft after it was 1.4 60ft

To the OP. It can certainly be done. If you can get the car down in the Mid-high 11's on the motor then hooking a 150 shot have you in the 10's.A good sixty foot is the key. If you need a hand with the tune up or questions on the car let me know.

The science will be in getting the car to hook and 60ft. 3/4 of the race is in the 60ft time. A convertor alone can make a huge difference. For one it will keep you up in your power band. It will also take away the delay of the nitrous coming in from waiting for the car to reach 3,000 rpms. With what you currently have done and only a 150 shot I do not think a high 10 will be possible. (I could be wrong)
Put a 3600 stall convertor in the car, Make sure its hooking and wait transfering and you will see a huge improvement.

Given that I ran the time in my sig on TRUE street tires, at normal "running weight." in warmer weather, 10's are VERY possible in a bolt-on car + just a 100 shot. The mph is misleading, because the car was hitting the limiter at the 1000' due to lack of gear...
My car is getting lightened up, stickier tires, and making a shot at mid-10's in the fall.. With a .4 to .5 second reduction in 60', I should see a .6 to 1 full second drop in E.T. with the same stuff.

Your gonna need a low 60 foot time I would say in the 1.3-1.4 range we did it with a cam only bolt on's car on a 150 it went 10.71@125. But unless you aren't getting the car to 60' it's gonna be a lost cause. Also the right converter is key I would run a 3 disc so you can lock the converter that will help with et. The car stated above was blowing threw the converter he was running a off the shelf vig 3600.

I don't know if it has to do with the weather where some of you guys are at but some of you have cams in your cars and are spraying and still cant get in the 10's or just barely getting there. Full bolt-ons and a 150 shot should get any f-body a high 10 sec time slip if it is hooking right. If you can't make that happen, then something is wrong.

elevation plays a huge factor.. its like if i took my car to utah it would probably run 11.50

It can be done with bolt ons and N20. I went 11.14 @122 on a 1.51 60' with Yank ST3500, lid, FRA, headers, cutout, and 150 shot here in Vegas in a full weight 02 Trans Am. Very bad air here too. Had I tuned the car and waited for better weather it would have probably hit a 10.9x on the bolt ons and N20.
P.S. Stock suspension too.
Here is the video of that pass running a 1100 Ninja. lol
