Question

Went and tried the 150 shot for first time after installing the new racetronix pump and it broke up terribly bad then pulled the jets and the no2 pill smelled like fuel and had fuel on it what's that mean? Clogged nozzle?

87silverbullet 03-03-2012 07:56 AM

Are you sure you didn't flip flop the jets and put the fuel where nitrous should have been?

cory123456 03-03-2012 12:02 PM

Nope checked them to make sure of that

ATVracr 03-03-2012 05:03 PM

It's rich.

My friend said it went down to a 9.0 a/f and then I tried it again today and was doing a 10 something, how can I lean it out, never had this problem with the stock pump on a 100 shot

New pump is pumping more fuel.

You need a smaller fuel jet.

As you lean it out each time with a progressively smaller jet, pull 2 degrees of timing and check the plugs!

Ya I'm Gunna throw some new plugs in it and try it again

Let me know the solution to this problem. I am prolly about to install a Racetonix pump. Thanks

The pump is not the problem. Tuning your nitrous is the issue.

cory123456 03-09-2012 11:07 AM

But before the pump it ran great and a/f was dead on with the 75 and 100 shot

dkbmxer002 03-09-2012 11:07 AM

check the system, make sure nitrous is flowing. check for air, bad bottle? bottle closed?

Cape T/A 03-09-2012 11:10 AM

If you have the hotwire kit installed the pump may be running at a higher pressure and flow more fuel under load so that COULD change how your nitrous was tuned. All i know is I am spraying a 225 shot on my racetronix pump with no issues.

cory123456 03-09-2012 11:25 AM

Ya I just bought some new plugs and am Gunna try and see how it runs hope new plugs makes it better, I think I may have fouled them last time I wet to the track ran out of spray at 1/8th and was running real rich at the end of the track
