Using a 100 NX wet kit and M6 trans in what gear should I spray? I need to know what gear it is safe to spray in with a 100 NX wet kit and a M6 trans...I'VE never sprayed before..trying to be safe?

Re: Using a 100 NX wet kit and M6 trans in what gear should I spray? Don't even try first gear on the steet. You can safely spray in second after 3000 RPM. Actually it's safe to spray in first too, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you were on sticky tires and that might not be good for your rear end either.
To be safe, only spray between 3000-6000 RPM and don't spray deep into 5th or any of 6th at all!

Re: Using a 100 NX wet kit and M6 trans in what gear should I spray? I would defiantly get a window switch! If you ever miss a gear or hit the rev limiter, you can damage your intake or air box! In addition, if you have an SS you will lose the grill that is in the scoop! (I have hit the rev limiter once and all this **** broke)

Re: Using a 100 NX wet kit and M6 trans in what gear should I spray? i have my window switch set at 3000-6000, and i can spray in 1st gear, but i dont try to launch my car hard at all. i dump it at like 2000 and then it pulls till it hits 3000, then its like a rocket ship. but that is on drag radials, on gsc's, 2nd gear about spun the car around.

Re: Using a 100 NX wet kit and M6 trans in what gear should I spray? 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th gear window switch did 3000 but changed to 3300 up to 5800 on Nitto drags. Have a WOT MSD RPM switch, fuel safty cut off also. With new mods listed below this summer out of the whole. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

it wont 60 foot, but it made 120.7 mph friday night on a 100 shot. its not even pulling hard till the 330 foot mark. but man what a rush!!!!
