by my count it's the third fastest and the third one in the 8's, but we're working on that.

Pretty impressive for the stock short block to take a 250 shot like that.

There are plenty of stock bottom ends taking way more than that right now.

Is there a difference in stock bottom-end and stock short block? I see some people wording this so carefully sometimes that I just wonder what they actually are.

So in this case is the stock bottom end, stock crank, pistons, rods, rod bolts? Other than the cam, and maybe chain and oil pump, was anything else changed?

Unlike other cars that have posted fuzzy *** videos with big claims, I have nothing to hide, the rotating assembly and block is 100% stock with opened up ring gaps, I have a ported Ls6 pump and H3 oil pan and pickup the ported 243 heads are the same ones gm bolted on at the assembly line I have arp headstuds holding them down tho.

Aside from Carter01 I'm not sure of many, but anything is possible I assume.

I dont call this stock bottom end then, tight ring gaps is part of the problem in ls based motors and one of the challenges that you work around. It is impressive though to see what stock parts can do but what you have is not a factory stock bottom end.

That's your opinion and you are entitled to it.

I consider a stock bottom end if it has stock crank, rods, and pistons. Rings and bearings do not count in my book, but thats my opinion.

I don't follow along close enough here but it's good to know other ppl like to live on the edge and do what alot of ppl say will "instantly melt the pistons" and prove it can be done. As was mentioned it's all in the tune and being patient, for me it's also all in the suspension tuning which I've been working diligently at for 3 years. That 1.27 60' I'm very proud of.

No no I'm not saying you had something to hide. I'm just trying understand what everyone excepts as stock bottom end. Just trying to see how you got there. Trying to learn from people who are doing things like this.

Good work.
