nos install,can i leave my tr55's in?
 

i just put new tr55's in can i leave them in with a 100 hp shot?or will i hurt something.thanks! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

I'm not sure if it will hurt anything... but there would most likely be less chance of a mishap occuring if you used TR6s

I have the same question.. im about to install a 75 shot, but i also just put in TR55's a few weeks ago. I dont want to have them changed again, and i want to know if it will be safe to use... Id also like to know if its safe to keep my Granatelli MAF in while spraying.. im gunna deprogram my HPP3 when spraying though.

A year ago, I wouldn't have said this, but the more you do plugs on these cars, the easier it gets. Much easier if you take the front screws out of the coil pack, & flip it up out of the way. Also AIR tube, if you have it. With all out the way, it is easy.

Change the plug to TR6, it would work without it, but with conditions. Those conditions could compromise your motor. Do you want that?

Take out the Granatelli when you spray. From everything I have read, the granatelli raises timing, and they say you should retard timing, not advance. So it would be safer if you had lower timing, be it by LS1 Edit, or switching to stock MAF, or even a timing tricker to make the computer think that the outside temp is 120 out, whick will lower the timing, to save the motor. I'm not sure which resistors you would need to get, maybe someone who has actual testing experience, can give the specific one.

Nitrous requires: colder spark plug (such as TR6)
retarded timing
