what tach signal wire do you connect for an 09+ ctsV, zl1 or zr1 because not listed in the instructions

1 Attachment(s)
Here is a table for the pinouts. We are in the process of updating the instructions.

Thanks. If you guys have tested one on a v2 or those then I'll probably pick one up. The tach signal is tricky on em!

MIGHTYMOUSE 05-20-2013 06:56 PM

hi, i sent an email about buying one of these today :)

RPM signal

What is a "v2"?

The RPM-002 can take the RPM signal from the coil pack connections on any of the GM Gen III or IV V8 engines (LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, LS7, LS9, LSA, L92, LY6, etc.). The RPM-002 can also take the tachometer signal wire from the ECM/PCM in any of these applications. If the tachometer signal wire is not already present in the OEM application you would have to add the correct pin to the ECM connector, wire in a pull-up resistor and in some cases enable the tachometer output in the calibration.

Hope this helps.

Yes, it does. The RPM-002 instructions just don't include the pinouts etc for the LSA and LS9 applications. That is why Ryan posted that updated pinouts PDF that includes the LSA and LS9. See his earlier post with the attached pinouts PDF.

Ryan, i sent you an email.

I need a window switch & LNC 2000. Do you offer a special price on the timing computer for LS1 Tech members ?

Ryan@Lingenfelter 06-15-2013 09:16 AM

Thank you for everyone that participated in the sale. We no longer have any boxes left at the discounted price.

Thank you,
Ryan
