Dry nitrous kit company's? Im looking to do no more then a 100 shot and im going ti have to retune my car for the kit anyways so I was thinking of buying a dry nitrous kit. I having trouble finding many dry kits for an 01 camaro can any of you guys suggest some dry kits? |
nitrous outlet makes a nice dry kit. I was thinking about using theirs if i decided to go that route in the future. http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/efi-dry...m-systems.html |
Is it custom fit for a camaro or universal? Im currently looking at nos05177 dry kit or dynotune kit any opinions on either kit? Nos kit will be around 170 more. |
Nitrous Outlet has what you need, kit for your car specifically. |
Nitrous outlet also has a dual nozzle dry kit similar to the NOS 5177 |

So guys talked to nitrous outlet brandon told me he perfers wet kits. Opinions on that? I plan on spraying a 100 shot and never anything above 150. |
Wet kits are much easier to tune and can be tuned with various jets to get a good a/f ratio. With a dry kit a lot more tuning is involved because you need to rely on the cars fuel system more. You might need bigger injectors so more fuel can be added, unlike with a wet that pulls fuel from the rail. Also, the fuel pump might need to be upgraded depending how much power you're putting out. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, but if you only want a 100 shot there shouldn't be an issue with a dry as long as its set up correctly. With the set up in your sig I'd do bigger injectors, maybe 42# and upgrade the fuel pump. |

Ok looking at the Dynotunes wet plate kit and the nitrous express plate kit. Are both similar in quality the nx kit is 130 more. |
I've had a dynotune wet kit for 8 years that I converted to dry. Recently the NOS solenoid shorted out but from the looks of my melted relay it wasn't the solenoids fault. I don't have any complaints. |
I would go with Nitrous Outlets Brand X system. |

was also looking at the brand x kit for 499. Is any real difference in quality between brand x and dynotune? |

Don't mean to get off topic, but do you have any pics of your set up? |
