comp 918's I want to spray my 04 GTO in the near future. Anyone have experience using nitrous on an engine with comp 918's? |
I'm not sure where the relation comes in with what you're asking? What color is the car? |
There are way better springs than 918's out there. Look at Brian Tooley"s website. Good springs for a cheap price and good quality. |
My first reaction is quiet harsh to this- Maybe if this is a stock replacement situation they will be soso-at best. If you care about your motor? Toss them in the trash can. In 2012 I had 4 broken comp 918's. This was after I explicitly told my engine builder to NOT use them( based only on my Internet research).... 550 lift less than 10-1 bullshit mild build. Spring height set up perfectly etc etc. swapped them out for PAC1518.... Those tooley springs sound like a good one as well- Whatever you do get away from those comp918's. Pure garbage- do some research- it's old news and its still current as I learned. It wasn't a 'bad batch' !!!!!!!!!! F-them. |
And that was my 'calm down' before responding response.... My engine builder is lucky he didn't swallow some teeth for putting those in my motor after I specifically told him not to. |
I'm using Comp 918s and have been spraying my car a good amount with no problems. 224/228 .581/.588 cam and 150 shot |
You're not running too large of a cam and wait til you have one break, then you will see why running a dual spring can save your motor. |
