Default Nitrous Noob few questions

Looking to get my Camaro into the 500-520rwh area. Right now it's putting down 440/405 with the H/C/I set up. I want to run either a 50 or 75 shot and I'm curious if I will need to upgrade the stock fuel pump? Brand recommend?

Thanks

For that size shot I'd grab our Brand X single nozzle system: http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/brand-x...00-150-hp.html
As far as fuel pump goes, you're pretty close to tapping out the stocker. Go ahead and get yourself the racetronix fuel pump and hotwire kit. That way if you decide to bump up the shot to 100+ you will be ok. Let me know if you have any questions or need anything.

Thanks,

I have seen a 200 shot on a stock LS1, probably wouldn't hurt to upgrade the pump though. If you are worried about it you can put a fuel pressure safety switch on the car to prevent anything bad from happening, it will cut off the nitrous system instantly if fuel pressure drops significantly.

Is their any advantage of a plate system over the nozzle system you posted?

Ditch that 50 to 75 shot plan...you will not stay there long anyway. That 75 will turn into 100...then that will go to 150. Plan for the bigger shot down the road.

^That's exactly what happened to me lol

75 shot nozzle, then 100 shot nozzle, now 150 on a plate

Really flow rates are the biggest difference. Our plate systems with a -6an main feed line can flow upwards of 400HP. That brand X kit is really good to about 175HP. As far as performance, on the smaller shots like 50-75 there wont be much of a difference. But, as others have said, you will likely want to go bigger and its best to leave yourself room to grow. Above 100HP is where the plate will shine vs. the single nozzle.
