N2O Leak on NPT fitting

N2O Leak on NPT fitting
I've got a leak between my N2O solenoid and my purge solenoid where the NPT fitting between them connects into both. Both were tightened properly, so I'm trying some blue loctite and will let it cure 24 hours. I inspected the threads of both the fitting and the solenoids and they look fine. If this doesn't work, then paste will be used. If paste doesn't work then Teflon will be used and I will apply on the 3rd thread leaving the first 2 threads bare. I'm aware of the issues of using Teflon but are we really surprised when people come back saying nothing else worked except Teflon tape? I'm not.
For every story of someone saying that Teflon clogged up a solenoid there's another story of someone saying they've been using it for years with no issues and upon inspection of their solenoid and lines, no trace of Teflon tape because it was applied properly.

Blue loctite worked on the solenoid fittings, and then I found a leak on my gauge NPT fitting on the 4AN swivel coming off the pump. Hopefully when I check tomorrow no leaks. I put blue loctite on every last N20 and Fuel fitting that was NPT except for the hard lines leading from the TB plate to the solenoids because those are flared and seal on their own.

Blue Loctite is the way to go for sealing the NPT fittings on a nitrous system. It doesn't take much, and it works great. In fact, it's what we use on all of the systems we manufacture. Avoid using the paste and tape- it can come loose inside your system and has the potential to cause damage.
