Default Nitrous 5.3 total timing

Going out this weekend and plan on spraying a 100 shot what total timing is a good starting point.

Carbed 5.3
Martin specd nitrous cam
Vic jr

Car has been 6.90s on motor with 34 degrees of timing
Have a set of br7ef plugs I'm gonna throw in it also.

I run 10-15* @0 then 31* @ 500 across the board on a LM7 with a custom grind cam, gen 4 rods, forged pistons, holley mid, and a 750 holley off nitrous. On a 150 shot I drop it to 26* while the nitrous is on. I always just went with the 2* per 50hp shot rule.

That's what I figured just didn't know if 30* would be to much timing for a 100

34 is alot n/a. Did you dyno tune? I am just curious.
I only run 22 on a 150 shot using 110 octane race gas. For a 100 shot I run 28 with vp110. These are starting points.

A carbed LS runs a little higher NA timing than EFI. I've just always treated them like an EFI motor and pulled from 28 rather than 34 or wherever its at. That way, on the first hit, I know it isn't overtimed. You can always creep the timing back into it.

I run the motor in my sig at 31* on motor and 23* on a 150 shot with 93 in the tank and C16 in the standalone. Just start conservative and add it back in slowly. The 150 shot picked up .77 et and 11 mph in the 1/8 for me. That stinger plate is badass you will love it

I've only had the car out twice so far had timing at 30 then went to 32 then to 34 each time picking up mph

I say 24* total will be safe on a 100. Probably add some in with good gas.
