Default Proton plus nitrous noid orifice size?

My NX Proton Plus nitrous solenoid got something in it to cause it to stick open (luckily I noticed while not running) I took it apart and cleaned it but apparently the debris messed up the teflon seal and it still has a tine leak. Unfortunately however there's no part number on the noid for me to go by to get a rebuild kit. If I even knew the orifice size then I can get one. I know this is a longshot and I did message NX about it but figured if anyone knew here it'd save me some time. Thanks

Is the kit Mfr. still in business? If so try to contact them. They would know more than anyone here.

Oh yeah, it's a Nitrous Express kit. I did send them a message through their Facebook page. I guess I can try to call them also tomorrow. I wish they'd put part numbers on the noids though....I have another older noid that also leaks and has no part number either.

Other than the issue, how do you like the Proton kit? I have a NX single nozzle wet kit myself. Kit is at 15 years old, and never had an issue

Other than this, I liked the kit. Had no issues with it and liked how compact it is.

Found out that they don't sell rebuild kits for it and it has to be sent in for them to rebuild

Did they quote you a price for the rebuild?

60 bucks for testing/rebuild per solenoid.

The nitrous noid in the Proton kit is .078 which is similar to the NX mainline series of noid.

The fuel should be fine and if it was clicking under pressure prior to removal then the coil should be ok also. With it leaking as you described it sounds like just the nitrous piston needs to be changed out.

Yeah, I ended up taking the module apart and found the nitrous solenoid had a pretty big piece of rubber in it? I have no idea where it came from cause I've used it a couple times on the same bottle. (no lines were removed) but I'm gonna run a filter for now on. Was told to send in a pic of the bad piston which I did. Hopefully they'll just sell me a new piston. Thanks for the size however.

That's cheap. Just send it in. That's the simplest, cheapest route to getting you up and running again.

Can you post a pic of the "pretty big piece of rubber" and the plunger?

Rubber is gone but here's the plunger Can't see from this pic but it left a pretty good indent in the teflon. Like I said, I have 0 ideas on where it came from.

Already have it apart, so he said to send him a pic of the plunger/piston. I had another set of Iceman solenoids I'm gonna run now. Maybe just keep this setup as backup.
