Default Best Head Gasket for 350 shot....

Hi Guys. Going from my LS402 in a 3900 llb Car runnIng 9.60s at 142mph to new set-up looking for low 9s. I am going to a SHP LS Next Steel 434 c.i. with 4.155 inch bore, 4 inch stroke and 1/2 inch Head studs. Heads are Brodix 6 Bolt BP BR 3. Martin smallwood spec’d Cam: 246/262 at .629/.612 and 115+4. Lunati Pro Series I-Beam Rods and Custom Diamond Pistons. Compression 12:1. My question is about Head Gaskets. I had no problems with Head sealing on my LS402 on a 300 shot on a N.O. Plate. I’m going to a Direct Port and a 350-400 shot. I know I don’t have as much material between the Bores with the 4.155 Bore. I’ve been researching Titan ISC Head Gasket that uses a built in ring for each cylinder with a Copper Gasket but does not require o-ring machining. Also looking at Cometic MLX 6 Bolt Head Gasket. Appreciate any feedback from anyone spraying my intended 350-400 shot. Thanks!

I was spraying 300 with a 4.155 bore and a regular 6 bolt cosmetic mls gasket. They looked perfect when I pulled it apart. I ordered the mlx gaskets but ended up with regular mls again. But I will be spraying 450 this time. And I’m not expecting any issues with the gaskets. Plenty of guys have sprayed way more than this on regular mls cometics.

Default Perfect Combustion Energy Requirement

Hi Eh!, I believe your "gasket" tech is good.
I have used a different method, NOT at your bore size.
I have fit BFG Helical seals around the combustion chamber @ $65.00 each cylinder. (gas filled)

My concern is your combustion quality, your Ignition Energy Requirement.

I would fit my IGN-1A coil kit for your case.
I would fit the NASCAR Spark Plug of an Autolite 3922x Racing.
I would fit FireCore 250 SPW.

YOUR lever of power, 400 shot AND 12:1 C.R., will place a great demand for Ignition Energy.

KEEP you engine happy, NO Miss-Firing allowed.
