Default Help!! Lean spike on the hit

Using a NX MAF kit on a ls1 pulling off the rail. On both 75 and 100 hp jets my WB picks up a momentary lean spike right after the nitrous hits .The spike lasts roughly .2 secs. What could be causing this?
is it normal?
How can this be tuned out?

Depends. How much of a spike are we talking?

It is usually low 13s coming to throttle then spikes to high 13s to high 14s(its not real consistent) then will dip rich and then settle into a mid low 12 fuel curve

For only .2 secs I wouldn't worry. You pulling timing, and if so what are you using? How's fuel pressure on the hit?

Using hp tuners. Have ran 19-22 degrees at the hit with 100 Oct fuel. Can't confirm fuel pressure but do have a FPSS at 45 psi

It could be bottle pressure, fuel pressure, the length of the nitrous line, length of the fuel line..

nitrous typically flows faster/quicker than the fuel side. old school guys worked around this by changing the length of the lines from the solenoid to the jets/plate.

If you are running and aftermarket ECU, like Holley EFI there are some things you can do to help with it.

My lines are equal lengths .Felt that was a possibility..ones at 1000 psi and other at 50-60 psi .That would be something easy to try

If you are worried about it I would start by changing the lengths of the lines to see what difference it makes.

Also do you have widebands or have checked the other bank to see if it's the same/better/worse?

Got a 8.5" fuel line ordered which is at least a foot shorter. Hoping to try it out this weekend and post results
