Default Old Truck. Lots O Miles. How much N2O?

I have a 2005 3/4 ton suburban with a 6.0 with shaved and ported 243 heads, 218/224 BTR Truck Can, 1 7/8 headers, Magnaflow dual exhaust, TBSS intake, and of course 220,000 miles. It runs great. Compression is good all around. 4L80E with a 14 bolt, 4.56 gears and a TrueTrac.

Here is my checklist I am looking at.

Walbro 255 fuel pump
New plugs
NX 4 bolt plate kit
Bottle warmer
LNC2000 to pull timing
Possible progressive controller

That said is a 150 shot safe provided I read the plugs and don't do anything stupid? Or just keep it at 100?

150 shot is fine. You should have gen 4 rods/pistons in that engine, so nitrous alone isn't going to be able to hurt it.

I wish it did. It's a gen 3 LQ4. The top end is gen 4. Bottom end is stock 2005 bits.

All 05 engines had the floating pin rods/pistons. You're good.

Similar situation here with comparable miles but fewer performance parts.

Where can I find a "prep for nitrous" checklist for high mileage vehicles?
Here's what I'm thinking: Compression check, leak down test, complete fluid and filter change, bigger spark plug wires, 1 step colder plugs (with spares for tuning), new higher flowing fuel pump with pre-filter in-tank.

Am I missing anything?

That's a good list. If it's anything like the 6.0 in my truck, shes loose as a goose. lol! I dont think it would bat an eye at a 150 shot.
