Default Nitrous Pistons? Nitrous Convertrs? Nitrous Cams?

Alright

Many companies sell nitrous pistons, nitrous converters, nitrous cams, and nitrous drive shafts. i know the drive shafts are steel vs aluminum/carbon fiber, for the added sudden power i suppose. but what makes up everything else to be a nitrous 'whatever' product?

I would assume they are for nitrous oxide use <duh> but I simply have no clue as to what it means. Is this this just a selling point for guys with nitrous oxide or is there actual special features to them?

any help would be appriciated!
