Best complete kit? couple Q's too.
 

What do you think is the best complete kit out there?
I saw the ZEX kit in Hot Rod this month when they tested it on an LS1. It seemed really simple to hook up. No solenoids or anything, just that little purple box that you hook the lines into. No throttle switch necessary either, because it hooks up to the TPS sensor, so it automatically detects when the car goes into WOT. It included everything for just $580 from Summit.

1.What kind of fuel upgrades are needed for a 100 wet shot?
2.Are colder plugs an absolute necessity for a 100shot? I run TR55's now.
3.Will I have to use race gas, or will 93 octane be fine for a 100shot?

The ZEX system is your basic elementry system from what I heard. It will reveal the least amount of horse and ET but it is the safest, simplest way to go. If you want the best bang for your buck, look into NITRO DAVE. He seems to always have some crazy system for sale on sale.

With Zex you get small money, small problems. with a bigger better system you can have the same small amount of problems, bigger price tag, but better outcome. I say go with NX, NOS, Nitro daves systems.

NX, with genx-2 upgrade.

nx complete kit here......love it and no problems. i run a 150 shot but upgraded to a 255lph inline pump. The kit comes with a fuel pressure shutoff switch....good insurance. I run tr-55's w/no problems. Run's great on 93!

Thanks, thats exactly the kind of response I wanted :) Do you think I could run a 100shot without upgrading to a Walbro 255lph pump?

you should be fine. there are people running 150 shots with no pump. But they are cheap and it's a easy install so i would go ahead and put one on if you can. make sure you get a window switch just in case you miss a shift! It's best to get the complete kit with the bottle heater....if you dont it's hard to maintain the 1000psi you need to get your 100 shot. I bought mine from Speed Inc. also get the switch panel for your cubby hole in the console....it comes with a purge and bottle opener switch.

BTW it's the NX wet kit with the gen-x upgrade!

Go NOS been in the nirtous busness the longest. Is the best hands down look into the NX sponsered Drag raceing events! There is a guy that runs in that class with a singal stage NOS fogger and beats All the NX guys! And last year set a record. I have a 2 stage NOS custom kit on mine.

I like NX but if you asked for the best so NOS!

just bought NOS 5177 and will jet it at 100hp had one damaged line out of the box just my .02
