Noyzee Nov 1, 2004 08:22 AM

thanks man. i'll tell you what, i love FI, and i think all my issues i found this year was all the same shit, and i bet i could have gone as fast with my old setup had i spent all the hours fixing shit. i sold it all do to the fact it didnt run right, thinking N2O would be so much better, then it all hit me. im very happy with my new setup, East side did a great job on the motor, and i helped out and did a ton of work myself, so between myself and them, we built a nast set up with lots left!
cant wait!!

Pro Stock John Nov 1, 2004 05:40 PM

Congrats, looks like 9.7's would be very easy for you.

CAT3 Nov 1, 2004 08:33 PM

Noyzee.....congrats man, glad to see your single digit midget!
Ditto on pics or at least a little description please. Get that suspension sorted out and you will be easy in the 9.5 range or better, damn. Now all you have to deal with is filling bottles.....and you already 4-5!

Good luck

Charlie

No problem on the setup.
it is an East Side Performance 347 that i helped put together, i worked very close with ESP on pulling the motor assembling it, putting it back in ect ect. its a stock block, stock nitrated crank fixed up by Wheel to Wheel, lunati rods (i polished them myself for oil reasons) rod bolts, stock mains, custon dimond pistions coated bigger ring ect, ESP custom grind cam (kind of top secret info lol, but not as big as most think) ESP ls6 heads dual springs, valve job by SK machine here in mass, stock ls6 intake, stock pp t-body, stock water pump power steering, no short belt thing, Kooks 1 7/8" headers, stock maf, stock computer with ESP tuning, fuel fuel system, 42* inj.
N2O set up is running off my existing fuel system, but the pump isnt keeping up, so this weekend i will be doing a seperate cell for the nitros. but the kit is a custom kit put together by ESP and myself, it is based on a NOSzle kit but with big noids, custome brackets bla bla bla. this setup has alot more in it, and these runs have been done on a 200 shot. im planning on 60' ing the car to try to get in the 1.4's, and in that case i should see a 9.7 out of the car, then this winter, up the shot, remove some weight, and get the car cert to run fast and go at her next season

BIGBOS Nov 4, 2004 11:19 PM

You ever get the car dynoed on that 200 shot?

What kind of TQ converter are you using?

Noyzee Nov 5, 2004 06:57 AM

yes, the car makes about 650 with mild tuning. she was a little lean tho, now with the new fuel setup i should be able to bring the bottle pressure up and add a little timming i think around 675-700 depending how well it goes. tq is impresive tho. na the car mad 465!!!!!!!! on the spray the dyno gets all f-ed up spins tires and the tq blows right away, ive gotten 200 rwtq all the way to 800 rwtq, so it is off every time.
it is a Huges vert
