do's and not do's of the nxl kit? hello everyone, ---well it has almost been a year since i installed the nxl kit on my car. i slapped it all together because i got a short notice call from GMHighTechPerformance that they were coming in a week to do a article/photo shoot on my car and a friends. we ended up getting the cover; red 96 lt1 camaro and my pewter 99 trans-am "Fourth Gen. G-Men". (hit the stands the same day my little girl was born) --- to the point. i am just now getting around to finishing this install and was curious if there are any things i need to do? -i have driven the car very hard "na" and have not had the problem of the rails popping off. -i have the accumalator sitting on the bench ready to go in. -and i have found the revised jetting numbers ****anything else? ****and, can i run the 180 shot on the stock fuel pump? or do i need to get an inline. i am trying to avoid "standalone" fuel system(as cool as it would look) i moved the battery back for a reason. i would definatly watch the a/f, but i just did not know if it would be wasted time with the stock fuel pump and should just go ahead and get the inline or better? thanks for any help, ben |
For the 180 hp put a intank pump in it not a inline pump. Other than that make a pull and check air fuel. Dave |
