Damn Ricky, that's cool. How exacly does it work? Do you have to run the motor super rich N/A to compensate for the nitrous? I run a Fantom .15 in my T-Maxx with 35-40% nitro so it goes pretty good now. I wonder how much faster it could go?

No video yet. Still working on it. The engine revs higher and force more fuel in to the carb, by pressurizing the fuel tank. I till you it is almost uncontrolable. I myself have crashed into wall, climbed up a fence, flipped over backwards countless times, and rolled over in a turn to many times. We were all laughing when this thing was being built.

Wow I never really thought of the added pressure on the exhaust side. What kind of head temps where you seeing after a nitrous run? I'd deffinatly be up for trying this. I only get about a month out of a piston and sleeve anyway, so I have nothing to lose.

How long do one of those bottles last? Can I hook it up to a regular 75lbs bottle to refill it or do you need one of those Whip Cream N2O refillers?

hahah i didnt know every one on this forum was into rc cars too. I got a thunder tiger TS-4N with all the alum. Hop-ups and a .15 EVO motor. its not running at the moment as I Spun off second gear (threaded on to the hub and red loctited in place) and I stripped all the teeth off the rear belt and cog, Damn High Horse Power engines. The thing was uncontrolable, It would change gears and start going sideways.

Not sure on head temps. At first every glow plug, gone after just one hit. My guys in the ship were greedy and wanted to rotate the earth. After about 10 plugs and alot holy sh--s. We changed the design and it started to fly, only burned a plug every once in awhile, Now no plugs burn at all. the nitrous lasts for abot 20seconds. just long enough to bounce of a tree or two. lol.
A month sounds like you are running to lean a tune up maybe. Not sure not a RC guru, I just built the nitrous kit for it.
We use whip cartgiges.

cooool.

if you have one, i would swap over the kit from the truck to a touring car.... lower center of gravity, still 4wd... but it could take the speed alot better and more controlably...(kinda)

just get a BIG parkinglot.. lmao.

Hey Ricky, tell the guys to pick up some O.S. R5 plugs (they are black in color), might have to order them straight from O.S. They are a real cold plug made for high nitro and high compresion. I've had great success with those holding up in the wrost conditions.

As for my pistons and sleeves, I do run the truck slightly lean when on pavement. The really big killer is the 40%, I also only run one .002" head shim so the compression and timing is pretty crazy. Also, a 44,000rpm road race motor wasn't really meant to be pushing a 4X4 truck.

Keep us updated when the kit comes out.

You know its getting out of hand now, right?

Just kiddin I would be one of the first to do it! I would be the big kid in the parking lot smiling from ear to ear cause I just kicked the rod through the block on my .15 awd parking lot racer. But boy did it fly till that happened lol!!!

Yeah who needs N2O when you have nitromethane? Id just up the compression and the mixture.... What would REALLY be cool is a turbocharger!!!

I've been so bored lately, I've been thinking how cool it'd be to have a blow-thru T3 or cheater shot on my riding mower. The track needs to open soon so I have stuff to repair.
