10's ?

Is there any boltons (stock cam & heads) cars in the 10's. If so what did it take?

I managed to get mine into the 10s barely while struggling with a couple of tranny issues. Basicly, full bolt ons, stall, few suspension mods, drag radials, 3350lbs race wieght, and the nitrous. The number in my sig was on an extremly rich 200 shot, car was running an A/F ratio of about 10.2-10.5 and dropped even lower past the 1/8 mile. The car backed that run up with a 10.98@123 on an almost empty bottle with a 150 shot.

10s

The equation for a 98Z is pretty simple: a 3500 lb car needs about 520rwhp to run 10.90s. The only stock motored LS1 cars that I know of running 10s do it with a big NOS shot (200-250). If you try this, also make friends with one of the engine builders at this site.
