Default Who Runs an NX TPS Switch Right Now?

Just curious. I am installing mine next week and have a WOT Switch that came with my NX Kit and also got the TPS from ND because my installer said it was easier to install.

All I see is posts that say no one can get them to work correctly, so I want to see who is actually running these and if they have been working consitently for an extended period of time.

I have a C5 Vette, but I am sure they are similar for all LS1's...

Latest Example X-Troopercouldn't get his to work and went with a WOT switch, AirWolf had troubles with hius and went with a WOT switch. Now mine is the latest one so maybe the bugs are fixed?

Again, whoi is running there and reccomends them.

Thanks

Gary

Cool My friend. Looks like I will be OK. Our other friend with a Vette X-Trooper for some reason didn't get his working, but I am not sure WHY?

Maybe installer error, maybe a defective piece, or maybe you have to know a few tricks

yeah I'm hoping with the tuning to help out my stall shutter I had, 28" tall slicks and the 150 shot. I'll get close to 10.50's

Before some tuning recently done. The converter would shutter once stalled up to 2500rpm's. Thats fixed and I can no stall up to 4000R's without a problem so looking for those 10.50's, cage should be here soon I hope

the plan is to spray out of the hole as soon as I'm at WOT, and after hopefully 10.50 seconds let off No window/rpm switch, spraying through the shifts

Gary are the wires on your switch,

pink, red, white and black

or

BROWN, red, white and black?

Mine was pink, the NX book i received said brown. I dont know if thats anything to tell the age of the switch or not. But something to think about

I'm using one. I had a little trouble figuring out the install, but haven't had any issues since I installed it.

You might have to adjust the screw ALOT to get it to come on, btw. I had to open mine up about 15 turns to get the relay to fire.

I'll be down the track so damn fast, no one will ever see my sticker, they will see my licence plate

OK, I will sit down Now

Being fast is boring, but someone has to do it.

are these issues coming from the start? As in the switch never worked? Or a prolonged issues that becomes a problem. Maybe the switch was exposed to close header heat or something? I've only had the Kit working for about a week and made 3 pulls with the juice and my install went smoothly and everythings worked great so far... Just wondering what all the problems are/were?

mine worked for a while, then it needed to be adjusted al the time, one time it kicked the spray on about 60 feet out, then shut down, and kicked back on, i almost hit the wall! that was the last of that.
im not a big fan. im sure they are nice, but just didnt work well for me, i like the old simple $5 WOT switch.
this is all personal preffrance.

my switch was purchased back in may, when was yours purchased, wondering if they changed anything. I'd hate to have the same experience you incountered. As you can see in my pictures, I tried to keep the most stock looking stealth setup possible.

Thanks for the fast replies
