Default Spray 175 shot with less timing or 150 with full timing?

I was thinking about this the other day. If I am spray 175 shot with 22* of timing am I really gaining much vs 150 shot on full timing? I am sure I could tell on a dyno, but common sense might be telling me I am gaining nothing.

Thoughts?

Pulling a couple degrees in no where near 50hp. Don't worry, try each set-up and you'll feel that a 175 with pulled 2 degrees is mucho better.

well.. if I remember correctly 28* to 30* is what I should be running N/A so I am pulling 6* to run 25 more hp of nitrous... regardless I am running 22* of timing on my car. I just wanted any thoughts if thats worth it. Thanks for the reply, Robert!

actually running a 150hp hit normally no timing needs to be pulled. So, 6 degrees is probably over kill, imo. The best way is to log for kr and/or dyno then you can have max timing and no problems, the best of both worlds, power and safety.
