Default Opinions on my nitrous set up

First off I Havent used spray and dont know a hell of a lot about it. I have a 96 Z with a forged 383 stroker,TEA heads and made about 400RWHP/395WRTQ on it dyno. I am wanting to intall my homeade kit which consist od 1 10# bottle. NOS cheater Solinionds going through ys to 2 NOS
fogger jets mounted in a trickFlow elbow. I am wanting to run 125 shot pills in each Fogger Jet. Also going to install a Walboro 255 pump. INstalling a Comp 236/248 .520/.550 at a 114LSA. Will the nitrous system work and net good results? Thanks for lookin

Sounds like it should all work together. I'm assuming that this is a dry system? If so, Robert56 can offer some great help on tuning and setup.

Yes I thought it was dry at first also. Anyway it sounds good. Start with smaller jets and log for kr and a/f and/or dyno tune, then move up as you like. I would suggest getting the add ons for safety ie: ws, fpss, bottle heater and the list goes on. The complete system is the safe system. My system is made of of many systems and parts. but works well because I took my time and slowly worked my way up in power. good luck and you can PM me or one of the other tech guys for any help needed.

Gotcha. Like I said, it looks to be a well thought out system that should give you the power that you are looking for. I used a similar cam in my LT1 and it works great. Like Robert suggested, look into getting some of the safey items too. One other thing, I don't know which nozzle you have, but you might want to check them out for the defect mentioned in this link http://texasmeltdowns.com/FOGGER.HTM . I'm not saying that the NOS nozzle is bad, but this particular design had a batch of nozzles shipped out that don't work properly.

I'm not putting down NOS, they make several different designs of nozzles and they work well, I just came across this and it apparently affect a lot of customers.

Robert, I have been meaning to ask you about this and see if you have heard anything or seen this yourself. Check out the link and the information about the nozzles on it.

yea, it seems I do remember something about that issue, and pics look familar. I think it was sometime back though, and older used kits should be checked.

That's what I was thinking and why I point it out. I don't know how old the nozzles are that waltsfastz has so I figured it wouldn't hurt. I believe that NOS took care of this issue when it was brought to light (hopefully you've heard yay or nay on this), so newer nozzles shouldn't be a problem.

Might consider running a second fuel pump dedicated to the N2O system if fueling becomes an issue.
I could imagine one pump feeding injectors plus Y-ing off twice for your foggers might drop a little pressure.

I agree you should test it out with smaller pills first.

Ive got some of the Safty stuff and will have the rest by the time I go to install it. I have thought about the fuel pump not being big enough. 2 125 shost is about as high as I am wanting to go. Also if Ive understood right the Cheater soliniods are only good to about 250. I plan on starting about 75 shot pills in each fogger and go from there. Ill check into the link that you posted for defective nozzels. Thanks fellas
