That could make a nice addition, combine my two stages into one, and then use the advantage to drive it. Would definately soften the blow of 200-300 shots for sure.
Question on the progressive part: I set the start at 50%, I set the time to one second, I set the final to 100%. If I use 200hp shot, it should start at 100hp, now does it ramp through the hp for the next second, or does it sustain 50% for the second and then pop up to 100%?

It ramps through (builds up) from the 50% to the 100% in that 1 second time.

What you said second, that's more or less what our Angle controller does.

Thanks,
Matt

Nice price....

Ok I know little about these controllers and have looked into them time and time again but just don't understand how they work looking at the dials.

So for my setup....I run a 150 shot... with a timing tuner. I can't get off the line on good track prep on the 150 shot with a nitto without spinning. With this controller how would I go about spraying 50-75 shot off the line and having the balance of the 150 come in after I gain good traction?

Or I should ask how does it control the power?

What is it actually wired in with?

It can be wired into your WOT, Window Switch, or TPS switch for activation. It pulses your solenoids over the ground, and is armed off of your main arming switch. The only other wire is a ground; it's so simple a monkey can install one. The Advantage controls the power over a user-defined window of time. So if you have a 150 shot and you want to start off with a 75 shot you would set the start % to 50%. Since you want to spray the full shot end power would be set to 100%. The build time is a little bit harder. You want it to be as fast as possible without the traction issues, so there will be a little playing around with it, depending on track prep and such. With The Advantage having digital dials it makes adjusting real easy. I hope I answered your question for ya.

Yep I get it loud an clear...., but I have my timing tuner now shutting off the Nitrous through the shifts say at 6100 the nitrous shuts off and then coming back on after the shift.... Is this going to reset the power % and the timer on this controller? Or as long as I keep the WOT switch activated it will spray 100% when it comes back on. Is there a timer in there incase I would have to leave off WOT for a second or two?

Now I have to think where I can install it.........

That's the Repeat function, which The Advantage does have. It can be set to on or off. On an Auto car you could leave it on and if you got out of it (went part from WOT) and then got back into it would continue off from where you were. If it was set to off you would get 1 progressive build, then full power for the rest, until The Advantage is either reset (10 seconds of inactivity) or the system is unarmed and then re armed.

No, it needs to be installed in the passanger area. It would be a pain to pop the hood and get out to make adjustments.

what if you were to spray from a roll, say on the highway? Wouldn't this start off at the lower setting and the ramp up to 100%?

Got it, thank you. Thanks to everyone that has ordered one so far. You'll all be getting UPS Tracking numbers on Thursday.

Thanks again,

You would want to adjust it for the conditions that you were going to use it in. From a dig you might want a longer progressive curve then say if you already had momentum and traction wasn't an issue. The digital dials make for quick adjustments.

Matt-how can you know where your set at for future referances on % and time, etc. Say you have it set one way, go another and then want to go back. There is no markings to referance to. Can you explain. thanks!

Well first, contrary to what some say, The Advantage IS a Digital Unit (She uses the same processor as our Edge controller along with some of the source code). It does not use LCDs, instead power indication is shown on a series of 8 LED’s rather than a numerical display of power on a LCD screen. So when you set the Start % the LEDs light up to show you where you are. When The Advantage is active the build time is displayed in real time via the LEDs.

Tried to order one last night on your site but it would never get me prompted to give a cc number. I will be calling today. Been waiting for this to come out for months.
