Wish me luck tomorrow!
We're headin to BMP tomorrow mornin to hit up the test n tune in the morn and then our track rental after the TnT and it'll be the first time I hit both stages! I had a wiring issue last time out and the second stage never hit and then the noids on my first stage wet kit got fried cuz they got stuck with constant power! I rewired everything and got new noids, tested everything out last night, hooked up the bottle, bypassed the window switch and just grounded the relays and pulled the lid off so the dry kit wouldn't spray into the motor and pulled the lines off the T on the tnt noid so that wouldn't spray into the motor and hit the wot switch and everything worked perfect, tested a few times, same thing worked perfect and noids didn't get stuck with power, so i'm all good to go for tomorrow, I can't wait!!!!!!!
I'm hopin for 9.40's or better and 60's in the 1.3's or better, wish me luck!

Ok, so I got one of my goals!
Here's the breakdown:
1st run, have 14 lbs in the tires, rear shocks 7, front shocks 4, do my burnout, stage, go off the top of the t-brake and wham, she ****** hits so hard and wheelies nasty, but started veering left toward the wall so I had to get out of it and it just caught me off guard, so I coasted the rest of the way.
2nd run, lower tire pressure too 12, same shock settings, this time she comes out straight as an arrow, but again, she came out so hard and I was just caught off guard and my hand got thrown back into the shifter and basically I shifted to 2nd immediately after launching, realized what I did, started too let out, but then said **** it and got back in after I was comin down too about 3/4 throttle and ran it out for a 9.59 @ 140.23, a lot left on the table everywhere on that run!
3rd run i'm psyching myself up, especially since I got a grudge match i'm about too race, same settings as run 2, go up and launch off the t-brake and just ****** stayed in it and god damn did it feel good, the launch was sick!!!! Hit my 1 to 2 shift right on the light, but then just before the 330 mark she started breaking up and I let out and coasted the rest of the way! This pass would've been a 9.20 - 9.30 pass easy!!!! She cut a 1.32 60'!!!!!!!
Went back to the pits, pulled the plugs, and the first plug on the drivers side was burnt up, replaced the plug, took some timing out and went back out for another run.
4th run I got out there, hooked pretty good initially but then started sliding all over the place and started hearing her slightly breaking up and let out just past the 1/8th and coasted through the traps too a 9.89 @ 115. Was told by the track guys after that I was leakin tranny fluid and i'm assuming that's why I was slippin and slidin, so now I gotta figure out where the hell that's comin from!
So I never got a good clean run, but man am I happy with the 60's, she was comin out nasty and dead hookin! A few buddies got them on video, as soon as they'll put them up, i'll post them up here! And this is at about 3500 lbs raceweight! Anyways, now I gotta figure out what's up with why she's breaking up a bit, it's either the lean spike from the TNT first stage, or not enough octane, only things I can think of! Gonna put the car down now till I get my tax return and then finish up the safety equipment and put a wideband in the car so I can constantly keep an eye on my air fuel and make sure she's not goin lean! Last time on the dyno with a/f though on the full shot with the same gas it showed 10.1:1 a/f, so that's why i'm thinkin maybe not enough octane and just got too hot and is causing her too break up and maybe that's what took out the plug. Luckily and thank god the motor is ok!
