Finally got some baseline numbers - Car is DONE!
Worked a few electrical bugs out and finished fabbing up some odds and ends....started some street tuning on the car to get it "driveable." (Note - I have been using HP tuners for my high compression, solid roller 402 and it is an awsome program. The alpha-N option makes tuning large cam engines much easier...).
Took the car to the dyno and almost cracked the 500 rwhp mark running nitrous timing and a little rich N/A. I was pleased the the results, and we just headed back last week and hit the 730 rwhp mark with a 250 shot. No signs of head lifting, GM MLS gaskets with 1/2 inch head studs.....somewhere under 10.0:1 A/F at 13 degrees of timing (starting out safe - it always leans out at the track). Only made 3 pulls and we loaded the car up. I haven't turned on the plate yet, and don't feel we will need to for a while, especially since I am running so conservative on the fogger. I'll be doing all of my datalogging at the track from here on out.
Now I just need to get the car to the track! Fabbing up a chute mount as we speak, but with my work schedule I won't be able to do any racing for a month I will be in 3 different states for the next 3 weekends, so racing is a while off.......at least it gives me time to finish up some odds and ends during the week before I take the car out for the first time.
I'll post some pics soon....

I'm really not too sure as to what it was making. I did the same thing I'm doing this year - getting a baseline at the dyno and then gradually jetting up at the track.
I need to get some pics up of the car from start to finish - minitubs, 10 pt cage, and everything else......just finding the time lately has been tough.

Alpha-N is actually a term used in a megasquirt manual I was reading - whoops. The option I was referring to in the HPTuners program adds fuel based on throttle position (VE Multiplier vs. TPS vs. MAP). It's a huge help in this engine as the MAP readings are all over the place and jump to 85 kpa by just cracking the throttle slightly.
