Arrow Direct port using Edelbrock victor jr intake?

Ok im going to run a Edelbrock victor jr intake on a forged 370, th400 4200 stall and want to run mid to low 9s on the juice. I guess what im getting to is what kind of direct port would you use if you had to? I was hoping to spay atleast a 400 shot but in 2 stages is that possible cause i know the motor, tranny and rearend will handle it now. I read alot in the nitrous section and know alot of you know what your doing so someone point me in the right direction.

well if your going to do a two stage then a single DP is only good for one stage. What i have is a DP on my gmpp intake and being a 4150 flange intake i put a plate system on for the second stage.I like the fact that if you wanna a second stage you can use a 4150 plate system that i think they work very well. And i also run a pro race nos DP system. This stuff is all low fuel pressure so i run a seprate fuel system to.

Here you go.. We can set you up with a set up like this.
Directport for one stage and spraybars for the other.

forgedblue, I'd ask eastside about that before you do it.... they've built some of the fastest nitrous cars in the country, and the nitrous setups that they do THE MOTOR'S STAY TOGETHER AND ARE SAFE... that being said, with the goals you have in mind, I'd talk to them..... might save you a motor in the long run.

Is there something you are trying to say. Your post kinda seems like you are takeing a jab at us. saying we do not know how to plumb intakes.

Eastside does a great job at what they are familiar with....

So do we and we have a very large customer data base to back it up....
We have done over 200 custom directport jobs in 06 alone.. Our track history and work speeks for its self..
Thanks
Dave

wasn't meant to come across that way, and I apologize for that. I would just suggest Eastside because they have alot of experience running huge doses of nitrous on lsx cars, and would be a well advised phone call to make for anyone that wants to try to run 400 hp or nitrous thru an lsx motor, regardless of the delivery system.

Dave, your plumbing work is some of the best I've seen anywhere, and I wouldn't hesitate to have you plumb anything that would go on my car. I would edit the orignal post to not come across in that sense, after rereading it I agree it seems a ill-hearted... but it's been quoted already and that won't change if I'm correct.

not a problem, again, wasn't meant to be a cut on your stuff, or a pump for anyone's nitrous kits specificially.. more an advisment for a guy looking to run nitrous doses that send alot of racers home with broken parts to talk to some people that have experience doing it and being able to return another day to do it again.

I will give eastside a call as well as be in contact with dave. With a race weight of around 3400lbs and having a ford 9 inch with 3:73 gears with all the goodies, th400 4200 stall and trans brake, forged 370, custom cam to match the heads intake and to handle that much nitrous what are the possibilities with my setup. No suspention yet but will be on the way soon. I was hoping for mid to low 9s?

Once the suspension is sorted out, depending on what kind of power your makign on motor I don't think a 400 shot is gonna be needed to get to a mid to low 9 second run... I'm sure that there's guys that are running at those speeds that can answer that better then me, but I'd think you should be able to get there with less then 300. With a 400hp.. I dunno, I've seen more people associate that amount of nitrous with broken parts then a fast reliable setup. Not saying it's impossible, but certainly won't be easy to keep together for very long.

Both Eastside and Nitro Dave's will have your car running mid 9s all day without a problem.

I've been 9.45 with a heads and cam setup and a DP 300 shot.I had 853 casting heads hand ported with a 10.0.1 compression and a custom cam.And my car at the time weight in at 3300 pounds. That can give you an idea of how fast stuff can go without spending a ton on overkill setups.

Then should i keep my tnt f2 kit and keep spraying a 300 or go direct to reach my goals? And can you do a f2 kit with a elbow on a victor jr intake with the right tb and everything?

I'd still look into a DP kit because of the tunability. If the F2 kit is the power ring setup which I believe it is if memory serves me right, I don't knwo how that would work, ou would have to put that at the TB off the elbow, and that's getting quite aways away from the motor.... not sure how that would work, and with a shot that big, I wouldn't want to really find out, I suspect it may not be ideal.
