Finally 9's with my 347
 

well tonight was my night, I finally had a chance to spray my car after tweaking my car on motor working the bugs out and today it all payed off, I hit a 9.97 @ 134 and man this thing is just awesome. after Mad Man gets done with my car in about two weeks I'll go back to the track and hit it with the big pills :devil:

Dam impressive. What motor setup? How big is the vert?

It's a forged 347 with h beam rods and forged pistons stock crank just balanced the rotating assembly, heads are 243 ls6 hand ported by a buddy of mine, he went to SAM in houston and he's pretty goog and not expensive at all.

What size converter and cam? I bet it's a blast to drive.

Congrats. Im working to get there on a 100 shot but Im going to put in the 150 and get it over with.

I run similar mph but my ET's are much slower than yours. I have a best ET of 11.8 @ 119mph N/A and 11.0 @ 128mph with 150shot.

What size shot are you spraying?

My First Run Was A 10.10 @133 Mph With A 150 Shot So I Installed The 200 Pills And Hit It Off The Trans Brake And It Ran 9.97 @ 134 Mph, My Car Is Full Interior Only Weight Reduction Done To The Car Is K Member And Suspension Work Done To The Car And No A/c, The Car Is About 3650 Lbs. Wit Me In It.

So you were only running one stage on the 9 second run? Was that through your f2 or the direct port? What tires? Oh yeah what size stall?

F2, TIRES ARE M/T 28X10.5-15 DRAG SLICK. THE CAR RAN SMOTH BUT I KNOW IT CAN HIT THE 9'S ON A 150 SHOT IS JUST THAT I WANTED THAT 9 SEC. PASS SO BAD THAT I INSTALLED THE 200 PILLS SO I COULD COME HOME HAPPY :chug: .
