power loss with colder plugs?

Default power loss with colder plugs?

is there any power loss when getting 1step colder plugs and gapping them to .035-.038 when not using nitrous? cause i just installed my plugs and it seems like my car is normal....?

I dynoed with Irinum (SP) plugs and had 299 HP NA about a year before I did nitrous.

I dynoed with the TR6's at 299 HP NA for a baseline just prior to testing the Nitrous.

My Big *** can't feel any difference in the Plugs.

Tune (pulled a little timimg) & colder plugs = -10hp NA for me.

FWIW this question was answered by someone who drives a mid 10 second LT1 and he replied there was no difference at all in power and he has never encountered plug fouling. I drive my LT1 with the TR6 plugs gapped at .038 and I can tell no difference from the hotter plugs gapped at .060.

hey 01Z28M6, how much did you lower your LT1? and do you have any body kit? im thinking about lowering mine and was wondering what a good amount would be to level it and look good...i got 18" z06 rims and i hate the wheel well gap from the tire to the body

Agreed. But... IMO installing less than a 100 shot is a waste of time & money. And, the two go hand-in-hand for 100+ shots. Yes, I know, I know, some guys have success without tuning their 100+ shot, but I'm a better safe than sorry guy.
