Finally 8's Went to the track tonight and ran my best of a 8.95 @ 154mph car is still on a small tune and have not yeat used the second stage.We put a little bigger tune on the last pass but almost wreck the car due to poor track prep,spun the tires about 330ft out and was not fun but she lives to set new records real soon. :) So post me up on the nos list i don't feel right doing it myself. |
uhhhh ain't that an LS1 nitrous world record???? Well i'm the first replier and let me be the first to congratulate you.... since i'm trying to go to the same place soon along with Tony Shepherd and a few others racing to get to the 8's on spray (LT1 tho)..... again good job.... |

As we step up the tuneup the car really is starting to come to life.I wish the last pass was clean and the track was preped well because the car was on a mission. :drive: Oh well season still early and time for some new slicks after the rickey bobby move. :eek2: |

I've asked this question before and if I remember correctly it's a 408 (number 2), high compression, AFR heads, big hydraulic cam, 1/2 head studs, sheet metal intake and, TH400. Some of that might not be 100% correct, but I think it's pretty close. It's good to see you finall hit the magical 8s. Especially after 408 #1 went blamo. How much are each stage? Gears, stall, tires? |
