Default What is needed to run a 100-150hp shot on a lt1

I tried searching and couldn't find any info. I just picked up a 1993 formula with an lt1 and want to add some juice.

How much of a dry shot can the factory fuel system and motor handle?

It is a speed density car so will this make a diffrence if I should go with a wet or dry kit?

I would use a wet kit...In my opinion I think it's alittle safer...but if you go with a dry kit, you'll wanna upgrade your injectors...and if you go with a wet kit, upgrade your fuel pump....as for the factory fuel system...I really don't wanna tell you the wrong answer...

You can go with a wet or dry system. The dry systems have to be for the LT1 and will spike the fuel pressure. They will come with an external pump to mount in line with the factory one. A wet kit will be cheaper and easier to adjust. I have sprayed a 150 on the stock pump without any problems most people say to run a 255lph pump.

Ok, so to be on the safe side replace the pump, I am looking at a zex kit. Is that pretty much just a bolt on affair?

Ok, picked up a wet kit and plan on testing out the 75 hp jets tommorrow. I had a wideband on my other car I think I may uninstall it and reinstall it on the firechicken just to make sure im not lean.

Do the plugs need to be regapped for a 75hp shot? ignition retarded?
