Dry Shot
I'm looking to spray a dry shot. Just going to get a nozzle, tap it into my SLP lid, aimed at my MAF. Probably bout 5 inches away. I'm going to do a 50 shot to begin with. Then once i upgrade my pump/injectors aim at doing a bigger shot.
1) Will my car handle a 50 shot dry, at the MAF, with the mods in my sig?
2) Would my car handle lets say a 100 shot dry at the MAF, with injectors/pump?
3) Some people warn me that the MAF will freak out on me, spraying a dry shot at the MAF. Is this correct or no?
Thanks for any help guys!

I would try to get it a little closer to the MAF sensor. You will be okay to a 100 dry shot with stock fuel injectors, 125 is a 50/50 chance, only way to know for sure is to log the injector duty cycle. Number 3 is incorrect; you will be fine spraying a dry shot at the MAF.

Thanks for the help. I was just wondering because I always hear so many different opinions. Soo many shops telling me that the MAF will freak out. But then I come on here....talking to people that spray big shots at their MAF, and have NO problems. I personally just like the idea of relying on the MAF, vs a fuel solenoid on a wet kit. MAF definately seems more reliable to me haha

Yea Ik that part at least. One of the first things I did when I got my car haha. Now what about spraying....some people say to spray directly at the MAF sensor itself. Others say to spray at the Side of the MAF housing and NOT directly at the wires themselves. Which is correct?
