How does this work exactly? I understand that it is wired into the PCM at the crank and cam pickups. Is it mounted on the dash? How do you actually switch modes? I am guessing that you need to push a button for n/a driving (advanced timing) and then push a different button for using nitrous (retarded timing). Is that correct? THANKS
It is activated by a 12+ input. You set weather it advances or retards and by how much with rotory switches on the front of the controller. Unfortunatly you only get to pick one mode, but it can also do a progressive retard for boost if you wish.

How is it diff. from a timing tuner? how is it better? So once you wire it in it pulls timing once the nitrous is armed at w.o.t and goes back to your originall tune(advaned timing with cam/ heads) or do you have to turn any dials or switches?

I have not used the timing tuner so i cant say weather its better or not. Once you arm the nitrous it will pull timing above 1800rpm and when the switch is off your back to normal N/A operation.
