a 150 shot should get you into the tens, only thing holding you back may be your suspension and trans. you didnt mention anything about a bigger stall converter or having the trans rebuilt. you make ten second power but your 60 footers might not be enough to get there.

We are still having our sale on our plate kits. its a great deal and i would definitly look into it. you look like your pretty well setup, only other thing i would recommend is a bottle heater, window switch, and timing tuner

I run a 150 shot with a nozzle kit, stock suspension, drag radials, heads and cam car with a tranny that hits the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift and I went 10.84 @126 with a 1.49 60 ft.

If you don't have a built trans and with a stock tq converter, I'm guessing your not going to see 10's. More likely your trans is going to go south with a 150 shot. If you don't spray off the line and don't spray through the shifts you could reach your goal, hope so.

150 with a good tune you should be a nice 10 second ride...

There are stock bottom end ls1's in the mid-low 10's with Cartek h/c. Still street driven here is a link to a post.

You need to make your next mod a 3500 to 400 stall converter. Your MPH is damn near enough to get in the ten's right now. A good stall and the ability to hook are the main things you need. I would think you would only need a very small shot once you get your 60' in line. 11.88 minus .6 to .7 for the stall = knocking on the door to a ten second slip.

funny, no one mentioned the 3.42 gears. 3.90's or 4.10's would be a big boost.

his mile an hour will probably go down with a torque converter and a better 60'. so i don't think he'll be running tens anytime soon with his current set up.

i'd say a 50 shot might get darn close to a 10.99

eminem1833 - you could install the new NX main line kit that we sell - that will be 50-150 adjustable wet kit which is very affordable, and we have proven it to work very well. We installed the kit on an ls1 car w/ bolt-ons, small (222/222 114) cam ls6 intake, stock heads, and we picked up 112rwhp on a 100 shot with a safe AFR and a couple degrees out of the timing.

just take 1-2 degrees out of the timing and you should be ready to rock.
