Just ordered Nitrous, Please tutor me, DO'S AND DONT'S

Ok so i just bought my harris speedworks kit, fpss, bottle heater, and purge, i have a m6, mods in sig, i know the car is going to be a beast but i wanna be smart when spraying, any pointers? This is my first go about with nitrous so any pointers will help. I think im going to start small, it comes wit 5 different jets, ill start with say a 50 and gradually move up.

get a wideband, cause an fpss is useless if you fuel noid fails. I don't even run an fpss, but do have a fp guage in cab, and also a wideband with a lean warning light, so if anything happens, i see it right off!

Wet or dry kit?

If Dry, the 99's and 00's have smaller injectors (26# vice 28#), and depending on the shot size, you may want to consider larger injectors.

If Wet your ok.

since you are a m6 you'll have to get a window switch so that it wont spray through the shifts. try reading the sticky at the top it has alot of good info in it.

Window switch, TR6's, pull a couple degrees of timing, and have fun. Start small and work your way up.

dont spray a wet shot at the mass air flow sensor

ScreaminBird99 Apr 17, 2008 06:42 AM

i went with the wet kit, do i have to get it tuned? Or if im only running a smaller sot will i be ok? say a 75-100

ScreaminBird99 Apr 17, 2008 06:42 AM

i already did the tr6 plugs with my heads and cam

firefighting1101 Apr 17, 2008 07:18 PM

put some fresh tr6's and do a search and check gapping for the size shot your going to run...new plugs are cheap safety

Johnnystock Apr 17, 2008 11:27 PM

tune for wet is a wideband, if youre lean, up the fuel jet size...rich is the way to go. By the way you MUST have a window switch with a M6,cause is you miss shift: KABOOM!! backfire just happened.

...and read a lot, most of the answers are already waiting for you in the search button :P

Get wider tires!

ask first man, we could have got all the details and hooked ya up

NITROUS EXPRESS........
opener, f/p guage, n/p guage, , window switch (perhaps a shift light) refill station (pays for its self)

wet or dry?

where do you plan on installing the bottle? what size and what size lines?

I see u have TR6's; gap accordingly

oh, and a 50shot will make you feel like u farted; take to to a 125-150 so it feels like a freight train hit ya in in ass

Not sure how to describe what a 300shot feels like except your knuckles are white as hell and you swear you wont be doing that again :-)

NIttos/BFGs/MT's ARE A MUST
