Let's talk air fuel ratio.

Since many of you are into tuning and monitoring a/f, what do you guys see as being optimal a/f ratios to maximizing performance?

What do large cammed cars run best at?

What does say a large cammed car with a 150 kit run best at?

How about a stock motor.

I know this varies from application to application, but i feel that there might be some good places to start?

The guys I trust are telling me 11.5-11.8 on my mostly stock LS1 motor. Anything between 11 and 12 should be ok. Not sure about proper A/F for your mods.

General concensus is 11-12 on spray. There are formulas floating around, and in using them higher HP NA its seems need to be a tad richer than stock applications.

My H/C car 417 RWHP NA + 150 shot the formula comes out to 11.1185 for best AFR.

Here is the formula
[(HP NA /Nitrous HP) * Maximum Brake Torque AFR]+[(N2O Shot Size/Nitrous HP)*7]

Max Brake Tq is anywhere from 12.8-13.1

Well I used a gtech to compare different afr's while tuning, and low and behold the best afr was around 12.8 for the bolt on tune( while in pe mode obv.). Dyno'd and my results were confirmed.
