Thumbs up Nitrous on 2002 trans am

I have a 2002 trans am, with bolt on mods, and kooks headers. What would be a good nitrous system that is safe for my LS1, and how big of shot?

My suggestion would be to go with a plate system. The reason behind that is we are breaking the nitorus and fuel discharges into 6N and 6F which will net you better atomization and more even distribution over a single nozzles 1N and 1F discharge. There is nothing wrong with a single nozzle system it will suite your needs perfectly but IMO i'd go with the plate. Were you wanting a complete package or just a basic system?

Nitrous is run off of bottle pressure so the bottle heater could be the difference between 5 runs with the heater vs getting only 3 runs without the heater

single nozzle kicks *** too: I put down 130rwhp more in 98°F with very thick air on very safe and rich tune and 170rwtq

with better air, I'm sure I would have been right around the 150rwhp(150shot).

Plates are really nice of course, but I'm planning to upgrade to a 90mm intake/TB setup so I dont wanna waste money on plate that will not work with this.. and I was on a budget.

you should put a 100-150pill, FPSS, TR6s, bottle heater, a nitrous tune on any wideband and check your a/f and youre set!

And listen to guys at nitrous outlet, excellent service and prices.

792RWHP on mine but I am very careful on how I program it to ramp up on a 300 shot depending on track conditions and other factors.Be sure that you get a system that puts you in control of how much to spray at the RPM you select.

A single nozzle wet kit will be fine.
Don't forget to get a window switch, bottle heater, purge, and plugs.

A complete kit from nitrous outlet is a good idea, comes with everything.
