Should I Do It?!

Hey guys,

My friend told me he has a 50,100, and 250 shot nitrous kit sitting in his garage that he's willing to give to me. My car is already at 400+RWHP. Here's what's done:

Motor:
-Comp 224/224 .581/.581 114lsa cam with Manley push rods, Patriot Gold double springs, and Kateck ported oil pump. Awesome streetable cam.
-SDPC double roller timing chain
-SLP lid W/Holly air filter
-LS6 intake
-SLP's high-performance 85mm mass-air-flow sensor
-Ported throttle body
-ASP under drive pulley
-30lb (red top) injectors
-Holly 255lr fuel pump
-NGKtr 55 plugs
-Taylor wires

Exhaust:

-3-1/2" Hooker Longtubes
-No Cat
-4" Exhaust w/ Mufflex Muffler

Tranny:

Super Street Fighter Torque Converter, 3000 Stall
B&M Tranny Cooler

Rear is stock..

As of right now I don't know much about nitrous.. But another friend that night said "Your car has to be worked to use that." but he also wanted the nitrous for his nova so he couldve been trying to talk me out of it.

Am I gonna kill my car if I take this kit? I'm more concerned about my rear though.. Car has 86K miles too.

Do lots of reading! You should up grade your fuel pump and harness if you haven't already, window switch is a good idea, fuel pressure safety switch, heater. The new HSW Microedge will have a lot of features that you need in a nitrous sytem for a short amount of cash! You can spray your motor with no problems so long as you take the correct precautions.

Yeah I have a 255 fuel pump.. As for everything else I suppose I have to do some research.

is a walborough 255 in taknk fuel pump enough for a 200 wet shot on a forged h/c LS1?

id run it through both a wide open throttle switch and a window switch, your rear end should be fine at rolls but any hits off the line on the bottle will break that thing quick
