Default Portland Transmission Car Show!

Hey guys just wanted to inform everyone that on May 9th from 9-3, Portland Transmission is hosting their annual car show. This show kicks ***! I've been the last two years and there are TONS of sweet rides that show up along with a burn out contest this year. Let's represent the 4th Gens fellas!! This will be a good time for all of us to meet and check out some great cars!

I'm not really into the "show" scene, but I might go just to check out the other cars.

Really? Why is that? Well if you only scrap yourself up to go to one then save it for the Muscle Beach show in Seaside!

Hmmmm, many reasons so here we go. lol.... My cars paint is not in that good of shape. The car was used as my daily driver from 1999 to 2004, during part of which time I was separated from my wife (now ex-wife), living in Kelso and commuting to Vancouver everday for 9 months during the winter. The house where I lived was on a 1/4 mile of dirt driveway and it did a number on the paint. Plus the car is black, so every little nick, bump, and scratch lights up like a beacon lol... New paint for the old girl is on the "To Do" list, but there are other things I need first, like a new hood LOL...

That's about it in a nutshell. I do like to spectate at car shows though. My GF's dad has a beautiful 67 Camaro RS/SS that is black on black. He takes it to a couple small local shows a year and we go support him at those.

I feel your pain man but I'm looking to just spectate as well, not enter our cars in. It's free anyways and rolling up with a big crew of F-bodies is always a good time. All that matters is whats under the hood and you got plenty of that bro

Really? It was just thrown together. Thanks! My dad backed out on me for the show and Phil can't make it anymore. I still got your number. Maybe I will give you a call if I make it.

It was a nice day and my car was clean so I rolled in from the coast. Only stayed about an hour and left at 10;30. Lots of nice cars. Kind of spread out over quite a few blocks.

If you are really interested in the Elinor (which was premium!) the sign on the car said they are accepting offers starting at $110,000!

I parked around the corner from a black sleek beak TA with black wheels, lowered. Not sure if they are a member here, but if was nice.
