Default Wooooops!

Had to get a ride home on a flatbed tow truck from the track tonight. Luckily it was just a broken slip yoke..... She popped right at the starting line and didn't ever move a foot lol.... Time to upgrade to a billet steel yoke.

its just too bad you couldent see what it could run, you should have it fixed in no time as for the blue camaro, the cam was never degreed in it was just lined up dot to dot. so that might be part of the poor performance, plus it does need a tune.

I saw the dreadful event, just lurched and "pop". My heart sunk when I saw it make that move, was thinking something worse broke, glad that wasn't the case.

Yeah, I was more pissed about not making a good full pass than I was about it breaking. I expect to break **** when I go to the track, that's just part of racing. It sure shook the hell out of the car that's for sure....

Last night I just had a bad feeling even before I went to the track. I didn't have all my tools with me at the track and that bugged me. Was scrambling to finish fabbing/welding up the rear sway bar mounts to the rearend and that was taking longer that it should have. Didn't get to set the preload on the swaybar. Didn't get the 2-step hooked up all the way. Got to the track later than I wanted to...... the list just goes on. Should have been a clue it was going to be a bad night of racing lol... Oh well.

LOL at Phil, "The Punisher",,, I like that.

I'm gonna try. The broken piece of the yoke screwed up the metal bushing on the inside of the tailshaft on the trans. So, I'm in the middle of pulling the tailshaft off the trans and I'm gonna be ordering some parts tomorrow. Fun times.....

Hmm, weird not sure what is going on then sorry about that, on my screen they are showing up normal, thats werid.

That is to bad that it messed up part inside the trans, hopefully it is only a minor part and nothing more and you can get the part quickly.
