Default Finally got around to the LM1 to LM2 swap

It's soooo much quieter. Way better so far inside the car, you don't have to shout to talk or fight the drone.

But it doesn't sound as aggressive up top. Still good though I think. Before all you heard was exhaust and rasp now you hear way more from up front. I'd say it cut it down around 20 db's.

I'll post up the before and after vid's later tonight or tomorrow

I just put on a new exhaust as well. Picked up Tim's 3 inch Magnaflow. I still had stock piping that needed to be hacked off. Sounds pretty damn good and it's def breathing better.

Ok so thanks to Jeremy (98goldz) for helping me.

Here's how it was before the swap(it does sound nasty up top but was just too loud inside the car, and didn't sound very good around 2k-2,500rpm):

Here's a cold start on the LM1:

Here's the flyby(got kinda messed up because my buddy was supposed to be further up the road and I let off the gas too early, but you can still hear it):

Here's a LM2 cold start(you can tell its way quieter):

Here's a little LM2 start an idle and some LED reverse lamps I put in:

To me it does sound good though up top, just too loud inside the car. But so far I'm happy with the LM2

I really like those reverse lights. I want to do that now...

Car sounds good, can't wait to see it in person.

Yeah for sure, when the weather turns we should all get out for a cruise! And I'm putting LED's in the brake lights as turn signals too whenever they show up (red bulbs for brakes)

Are the lights just replacement LEDs?

Yup got them on eBay, just 3057/3157 bulbs, those are 32 LEDs in the backup lights. Turn signal and brake light are also the same bulb and the the small brake light bulb is a 194 I believe

I had a LM1 and currently a LM2 (both with stock cam and manifolds) and the LM2 is a little bit quieter and more refined sounding. I like it but I'm going with dumped TSP true duals once I get my long tubes installed this spring.

Here ya go. Same ones I bought, they are actually 48 LED's. 2 for $15, not bad. Way cheaper than superbright LED's. If you are doing the brake lights though I've seen pics with red and white bulbs and the red ones look much better IMO.
