Default Lowered The Tahoe Last Weekend.....

Finally got some good weather to lower the Tahoe, so here she is. Got new Bilsteins shocks as well. This is a 3/5 static drop, with DJM control arms up front and Belltech drop springs in the back. Rides really nice, except the rear rides a bit stiffer than stock.

Thanks fellas. I'm happy with how it turned out. Might lower it a bit more (1" maybe) later on after the rear springs settle.

Doesn't look bad probably better in person, and it might just be the camera operator (LOL), but the back looks as if it might be slightly lower than the front, like it has a load in it's shorts.

Thanks Steven. The only engine mod this ol' girl will get is a different engine lol... She's got 220k+ miles on her. Still runs good for now but seems to lack the power that she had at 180k miles lol...

To answer Welldones question earlier, if Brenda gets back to work soon we could do a lot more with the black car.... For now the Z28 is stuck in garage jail! Just got back to work at my old job recently and then Brenda got hurt on the job and hasn't been working much at all since February. That put a serious damper on the mod-fund and the Z28's appetite for cash is non stop....

No worries, she's past most of the pain and is getting a lot better in the last month or so. Getting off the Morphine was a big step for her.

I spent a hour or so cleaning up the Tahoe yesterday and taking some better pics.

Yep, NBS 2000 with almost 229,000 miles on the ol' girl. Just got back this week from a road trip to Montana and it ran flawlessly.
