Default Air pump removal & Emissions

So I just bought a set of TSP headers and a y. However I didn't realize that the TSP headers didn't come with a bung for the air system. Which is fine, I kind of wanted to remove the AIR system anyway.

I was wondering though, if I have a shop tune the Air system out so it doesn't illuminate the SES light, will it still show up in an emissions test?

I'm in WA, btw

It depends. If done correctly, you can make the system not report the failure AND (most importantly) you can avoid the "Not Ready" report.

Just take it to a local shop and tune it out.

Make sure you set ALL emissions related codes to no error reported and SES enable. That will ensure you don't have any "not ready" issues.
