Smart to go with used clutch?
There's a used Spec 3 and flywheel in the for sale forum that I'm eyeballin'. Approx. 10k on it, and looks decent in the pics. PM'ing now to get more info on it. Asking $175. Is the money I would save by purchasing this over a new Spec 3 and flywheel worth it? Or would I just be pissing my money away?

And I would would NOT use a POS Re grind PP
Hell the fly wheels on any 4th gen does not like a grind much less a crap tackular PP screw up
Just get a new one. And get a good one
I have had ONE problem with a twin disk in 6 years of installing them
All others have failed misserably when put behind real HP and Tortured

Yep, new clutches aren't that expensive in the grand scheme of things, so it's always good to get a new kit on that sort of thing.
I got a McLeod single kevlar disc kit, which includes the adjustable master cylinder and a new flywheel for $685 shipped... very nice kit for the price.
