I should be at your place around 5:15. I brought the spring compressor kit, too.
The best part about that shine is I haven't gotten past the heavy cut buff to clean up the wet sanding. I'm very impressed with this clear (PPG 2021 for the curious).

Been thinking about your paint scheme. You know, I do have access to a company that can do spraymasks for us. Might make that job go much faster and cleaner.
Just wish I had a booth.

Hey Cletus,

Any interest in re-painting a black front nose piece and stock hood? Hood has a quarer size dent and the nose is typical rock chipped to hell.

If I had a place to do it, maybe. I hesitate to get too involved in doing this stuff because it is 10x the task without a booth and I'm already committed to the same job on my car, a complete re-paint for my boy's car, Ellis' Z, and maybe another Z.

So, basically, if you want it done sometime this decade you will want to look elsewhere, or find a real spray booth and we can talk about it.

I will be showing Bobby how to do chip repair on the Z. Even a fairly trashed nose and hood can be brought back with some TLC. Be glad to explain that and show you how. Fact is, I may just settle for the same on my car this year.
