Default GTO Finishes Step 1

We finally got our GTO back from the dealer with the 05 hood on it yesterday. I think it looks quite a bit better this way. I didn't know the scopps were functional...well, open anwyway. I may NEED to add the CAI box & ducting. The rubber plugs in the scoops dont' keep the water out very well.

Next to come is the recessed 05 grille inserts. They are on order, been shipped, should be here any day...week...month. And we were thinking about the 05 exhaust & rear facia. But the 05 exh doesn't fit according to 2 dealers, the Banshee exh (made Borla) they sell cost $1000 and the rear facia will cost $800 more. Damn, I thought the Corsa was spendy.....

Yes, agreed, I need to do that, huh? I was thinking something in chrome that said "My other car is a 500HP Trans Am". If I was going to get vanity plates I think SLEEPER would be good.

Amazing what a simple thing like an updated hood will do for the appearence of certain cars. Nice looking ride there my friend. Can't wait to see them both in person soon.

I was thinking something in chrome that said "My other car is a 500HP Trans Am".
So Linda owns both cars??

Looks good though. Tell her I'm impressed with her cars!

And then get one for the Trans Am: "This is my other car!"

Mark, it looks awesome! I actually think I saw it at the dealer after the hood was on and painted before you picked it up. Course, it coulda been an 05, I didn't get to see the back and it was kinda dark so it was hard to tell on the grills.

I like the new hood. Why couldn't GM do that to begin with? Now it atleast looks like a Goat.
