That is completely crazy.. Seriously what a work of art. That's awesome that somebody has the knowledge, experience, money, and initiative to actually do that. That's going to have a lot over power for such a small little plane!

HMM I LOVE the LS1 but I don't know if I'd trust it in a plane......maybe its more reliable then regular motors they use but at least I don't know enough about them to know what can break!

Fat bank account doesnt quite cover it. The guy building it is a Formula 1 engineer for either renoult(sp) or ferrari. One of the 2. There is a thread about it over on www.corner-carvers.com

There's a lot of info on him on his site too. Guys a friggin genius. Could you imagine? Building a carbon fiber plane kit with a turbo charged LS1/LS7 from scratch? Man, i still keep looking at that exhaust system over and over. Friggin awesome.

It looks like a P-51 too! That jacks up the cool factor in my book, it's the only mustang i look at with admiration.
