New aero mod coming soon...OK, maybe not TO soon....56K DIE!!!!
But it will be coming. I was cruising a road racing site looking into the American Iron extreme road racing and came across this photo.
for a long time I have wanted to convert my car to a front breather but time and fabrication tools are something I dont have alot of right now. Along with having a front breather I needed and air dam to minimize the undercar air flow. Well when I saw the picture with the Black 99Z and this configuration I started nosing around and after a bit found the place that actually built it for him. they said they would not have any problems replicating it for my car. They would also build a sealed tunnel for the radiator and a belly pan for the gap between the bumper cover and the radiator support. They even incorporated about 5* of adjustability into the splitter to adjust for different tracks.
I am pretty excited about this find. I have been looking at a number of airdams that people have done for thier cars and none of them ever looked like they really took time in engineering it. Let alone what the finished product looks like left alot to be desired.
Seeing as that the car wont probably be getting relicensed I am not worried about being seen on the street and having to worry about "ricer" comments when people see it. The support struts give it a bit of a ricer look but this is pure function over form.

I finally got in touch with the owner of the car and he said he would be willing to take it back to the guy that built it so he could measure everything. this would save me money on shipping my nose down to him along with saving $ on fabrication time.
Now I just have to figure out how to pay for this thing because it isnt cheap. May have to unload the entire cigar collection and humidor.
